The involvement of the industry is an important building block for the successful development of community services for energy system research. Industry partners contribute technical and business-related datasets while also using the services to access existing data. Task Area 3 focuses on engaging with diverse industry partners, extending the Industry Advisory Board (IAB), and collecting their requirements for service adoption and data sharing. Building on this, Task Area 3 works in close cooperation with Task Areas 1, 4, and 5 on clear and standardized processes for contributing and accessing data and services. To address cases where industry data is unavailable or cannot be shared due to privacy or confidentiality concerns, we are also working on service for generating synthetic data and anonymizing sensitive information.

Objectives

• Identify and involve industry partners and gather their requirements for platform adoption
• Develop clear processes to actively involve industry partners in the platform development
• Identify requirements for substituting data and implement a set of tools to generate synthetic data as well as anonymised data
