The goal of Task Area 8 is to support researchers by developing and providing core services and solutions for research data management.
A focus here lies in a collaborative infrastructure that aids in the energy system research process and enables the exchange of scientific knowledge.
The main services provided include registries, which enable the search for simulation models and software, repositories, enabling the FAIR storage and exchange of research data, knowledge exchange platforms, enabling the exchange of best practices of the domain and competence, which enable easier collaboration through open statement of competencies.
Task Area 8 serves as an enabler of research data management in NFDI4Energy by providing and continuing development of these services based on community needs.
