Scientific Advisory Board in NFDI4Energy

Scientific Advisory Board in NFDI4Energy

The SAB is composed of leading experts from energy research and respective research institutions. It provides NFDI4Energy independent guidance on the service ecosystem’s scientific direction, ensuring alignment with cutting-edge energy research, data standards, and open science principles. Importantly, the SAB includes international scientists, bringing global perspectives and ensuring the service ecosystem reflects the latest developments in energy systems and research data management on an international level. The SAB evaluates the scientific relevance and quality of services ensuring they meet the needs of researchers in areas like smart grids, renewable integration, and energy policy. It also supports interoperability with broader service frameworks such as EOSC and beyond and helps shape the ecosystem’s long-term scientific roadmap and usefulness.
